FPX Engine diary goes into the “silent mode”?

I made some decisions in the past few days.
  • The first one is that the diary “Development Of FPX Game Engine” goes into the “Silent mode”. It means that before I publish any new information I want to do a larger portion of the work. I want to surprise people with the progress, and it will not be achieved if I continue publishing things in smaller chunks. Which means that when the time comes I will publish a number of episodes in a relatively short period.
  • The second decision is related to the first one because I don’t want to kill my YouTube channel or my website. So I decided to make a couple of videos related to game development and programming, that are not directly related to my main project.
  • Also on the website I have introduced a new category called “World”.  “World” category  is dedicated to everything that has to do with game development and programming, while not being directly related to my projects. I think it will appeal to many people who are interested in that area.

From now onwards, and in the future ;) , you can browse this website using Internet Explorer. I had some difficulties with website’s layout while browsing it with Internet Explorer, but that is now history. ( IE8 works 100%)

  • Some of you have already seen that there is a new category entitled “World”.  In that category I will write about things that are related to game development, but not directly related to Frozen Pixel Studio.
  • Another novelty is the Categories menu on the “News pages”.

20 0000 self-aware barrels

This is the first test of the new algorithm for accessing the components through their names (Strings). As the title suggests, 20 0000 entities are accessing model rendering component and performing their behaviors in real-time.

Frozen Pixel Game Engine - Rendering 20 000 Barrels

Hello WordPress

As you can see from the title the new website was created in WordPress.
Header and background design did not changed much, but everything else did.
Thanks to Facebook you can from now on like and comment posts and pages on this website, also there is a new Facebook fan page entitled Frozen pixel studio.
From now on you can follow us on Twitter, and see latest tweets in the sidebar.
Thanks to YouTube there is a new Videos page, and do not forget about our YouTube channel.
If you are fan of RSS feeds you can find the link for it in the sidebar. (http://www.fpx-studio.com/feed/).
The new gallery is much better, the navigation has been improved and the entire site works and looks much better.
